The next in our series of Real Lives evenings is an interview with Alan Barnett, who was held as a hostage and human shield by Saddam Hussein.
In the early hours of August 2nd, 1990, Alan Barnett aged 15 landed in Kuwait International Airport en route to boarding school in South India. Unbeknown to him, a few hours earlier, Iraqi troops began their invasion of Kuwait. Alan was captured by Iraqi forces, and was used as part of Saddam Hussein's human shield as the dictator defied the might of the Western world.
Come and hear Alan share his story and tell of how God delivered him from harm.
