Our Sunday evening service on 9 August will be a pre-recorded interview with pro surfer John McCarthy. John was Irish national champion and European bronze medalist and has been surfing since the age of 10. He has travelled all over the world in search of the perfect wave.

Despite his success John started asking questions about the purpose and meaning of life. In 2006, he discovered that the answers were to be found
in Jesus Christ.

John is now a pastor and also runs Lahinch Surf School.

Come and hear John tell his story after which he will share a few thoughts from Psalm 84.
