At time of writing, on-street public parking is free of charge on Sundays only till 1pm on Micklegate and Priory Street, but spaces are limited and this arrangement may be subject to change.
All-day parking is available at the council's off-street, CCTV-monitored car park at Nunnery Lane, about 5 mins walk from York Baptist Church.
On-street parking is available at Toft Green. However, parking is limited to 2 hours and on-street charges are higher than off-street car parks.
Currently the City of York Council charges for evening parking, and it seems likely that these charges will continue.
